The Powell & Pressburger Pages Dedicated to the work of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger and all the other people, both actors and technicians who helped them make those wonderful films. A lot of the documents have been sent to me or have come from other web sites. The name of the web site is given where known. Arena: A Pretty British Affair

A documentary made in 1981 by Gavin Millar for the long running BBC documentary series Arena. The Arena documentaries usually have an arts theme, are often biographical and are highly respected, having won many awards over the years. Each one runs for 60 minutes.

The documentary includes clips from many of their major films and interviews with both Powell & Pressburger, separately and together, as well as sections featuring Francis Ford Coppola at Zoetrope studio while he was making One From the Heart and Martin Scorsese, Jerry Lewis and Robert De Niro on the set of King of Comedy.

They have been added to YouTube in 5 parts. Subsequently removed, but I kept a copy.
