The Powell & Pressburger Pages Dedicated to the work of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger and all the other people, both actors and technicians who helped them make those wonderful films. IKWIG on the Radio

We have discovered that as well as AMOLAD on the radio, American radio also did an adaptation of IKWIG.

This one was a part of the NBC series "Theater Guild on the Air" aka the "US Steel Hour", sponsored by US Steel. It was broadcast on 15 October 1950 and starred David Niven & Geraldine Fitzgerald. Powell & Pressburger are credited as the authors (adapted by by Philip Lewis), and the introductory remarks indicate it is based on the film.

So that's another radio broadcast to try and find a recording of.
