IKWIG 2020

Happy New Year to all fellow PaPas members:

We are now approaching the fourth IKWIG Celebration and you are invited to come, participate and enjoy.

The relevant dates are October 16th -18th 2020 and the Western Isles Hotel is almost fully booked. We anticipate a full house but there are other hotels and guesthouses in Tobermory and you would be able to attend the visits to film locations etc.

This year, we will be having a showing of the film, not as before in the hotel but this time in the Great Hall of Duart Castle, by the kind permission of the Chief of the Macleans (and thanks as ever to Nicolas for arranging)

There will be a donation of 20 GBP per person for a tour of the castle (helps to preserve the castle) Not only that but Andrew MacDonald. Emeric's grandson will be joining us as will Thelma, subject to commitments.

In addition, Professor Ian Christie will be giving a talk so all in all it is shaping up to be another exciting time. Good to catch up with old friends and make new ones

The telephone box at Carsaig has been refurbished and awaits us.
