This version, based on the famous Baroness Orczy character, features Sir Percy Blakeney (David Niven), masquerading as the "indolent dandy of London" and leading a double life as Pimpernel. It is our dashing hero Pimpernel who rescues innocent French aristocrats from the guillotine of the French Revolution. A script wrought with intrigue and mystery, beautifully accentuated by a fine cast of actors.
