TV Guide review
Sebastian (1968)
Bogarde shines as the title character, a mathematics wizard who is employed by the British government to decipher enemy codes. Besides his involvement with espionage, he starts up a romance with new code-breaking recruit York. Gielgud turns in his usual brilliant performance as the stout chief of the cryptography bureau. Inventive and amusing, but never really rising above the norm for long.
