Two Crowded Hours (Fox)
This picture (Annabelle's Affairs) will be preceeded by a British picture, "Two Crowded Hours". This is a real thriller, and the exciting sequence of events commences when a Cockney taxi-driver finds a body in his cab. The picture is relieved by some delicious comedy in Farjeon's inimitable style. The cast includes John Longdon, Jane Welsh, Michael Hogan and Jerry verno.
Warners have decided, in view of the insistent demand to see John Barrymore in "Svengali" at the Hollywood Theatre, new York, to hold the picture over for another week. It has been doing the biggest business the Hollywood has known since it was built.
