Jack Cardiff Exhibition
An exhibition of stills, posters and designs chosen by Jack Cardiff from
bfi Collections. Each exhibit is illuminated by a personal commentary from
Jack Cardiff providing a fascinating insight into life behind the camera.
Films from The Red Shoes to Rambo: First Blood, Part II are
represented, with a particular focus on the work of Powell and Pressburger
.
The exhibition is held at BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly, London and will be open
to the public from 3 September - 31 October 2001 by advance appointment
only. Please call 020 7734 0022 to make a reservation.

A walk around 'Chillingbourne'
Paul Tritton has contacted me saying ...
Steve,
The organisers of the Chilham Flower Festival have asked me to
repeat my guided walk around 'Chillingbourne' during their
August Bank Holiday weekend of events.
The walk will start at St Mary's Church, Chilham, at 2 pm on
Sunday, August 26, and finish at Chilham Mill (which we hope
will be open for a visit).
